PerkinElmer Expands Collaboration with ASAN Medical Centre and Center for Bio-Imaging of New Drug Development in South Korea

Provides Scientific Instruments and Expertise for Advancements in Translational Biomedical Imaging Research

WHAT: PerkinElmer, Inc., a global leader focused on improving the health and safety of people and the environment, today announced the expansion of its collaboration with ASAN Medical Centre (AMC), and the Center for Bio-imaging of New Drug Development (C-BiND) in Seoul, South Korea.

ABOUT THE ALLIANCE: Through this collaboration, PerkinElmer will provide in vivo and in vitro molecular imaging instruments, along with support and expertise, to C-BiND at AMC. This combination of state-of-the-art technology and scientific expertise will help scientists advance translational biomedical imaging research, research new compounds, and create new devices for pre-clinical use.

AMC currently uses several of PerkinElmer's instruments in its research, including: the Opal™ multiplex tissue staining assays, Nuance® FX multiplex biomarker imaging system, inForm® Image Analysis Software, IVIS® Spectrum in vivo imaging system, JANUS® library prep workstation, Operetta® high content imaging system, EnVision® Multilabel Plate Reader, UltraVIEW® VoX 3D live cell imaging system, Quantum™ FX microCT Imaging System, and LabChip® GX microfluidic system. PerkinElmer also currently provides technical expertise in cellular imaging, tissue and small animal imaging.
